 I liked the last one best! It was just sooo funny. The second one was kind of sick though, if I think about it much. I actually believe there are parents who do things like that to their kids. The first one was sort of real to me too. Because if I found a bag of money, I would turn it in, and hate myself for the rest of my life. Because I know that many people would not turn it in. And I am so tired of honest people getting the short end of the stick.

Thanks for the link to The Bershire Seven on MySpace. The music is terrific and definitely reminiscent of a time in my life. I've always thought of you as being at least 10 years younger that I am. I graduated from college in 1968. Enough said.

I'm a very visual person. When I read a story, a sense of place develops with the assistance of Google maps. Along the way you've created for me a vision of Kentucky that has taken me from the banks of the Ohio up into the hills and mountains, from very small and isolated towns to mid-size crossroads and now to Lexington. Because your story has been told over a number of years, these places become anchors for a saga. Having driven through rather hilly parts of Kentucky, I am really surprised to see through Google how level Lexington is. Thanks for sharing another part of your history with us.

OMG

I almost never eat Cadbury chocolate. But last weekend while I was traveling I decide to stop at a drugstore to buy at drugstore prices a few items to have at the airport. Since my plane was more than an hour late in departing, I was glad I did.

I decided to buy from the candy rack a few more items than I might have since some were greatly reduced in price (bad choice, I know--saving money should never be the motive for increasing caloric intake. The perfect diet is when caloric intake=colonic output.) One item I bought was a Cadbury raisin-nut milk chocolate bar. I was sorry after the first bite because it was too milky and had the texture of clay. The next day I read about Cadbury recalling some of its chocolates due to contamination of Chinese milk with melomine. It seems the recall affects basically the Asian market, but the way so much in the States is made in China, one never can be sure.

Anyway having felt saved from my television career starting and ending with a guest appearance on CSI, now you're telling me I need to watch out for "Extreme Makeover" and "Ambush Makeover." Who would have thought that a bad tasting candy bar could result in having bad taste in fashion?

Wish you could animate the photo. Then they could appear to dance to the cast album of "Chorus Line"--"Dance 10, Looks Minus 10."

How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?

Great stuff again Denny. The big negative about old Harry Truman was, that he dropped two atom Bombs on Japan, before we ever elected him as President. (He became president because FDR died in early 1945. A few months later, the A-bomb was developed and within 2 months he dropped it on Hiroshema and Nagasaki.

 It wasn't until 1948, three years later, that he was actually elected president.

 This entry reminded me of a an entry I wrote several years ago... Here it is...

My wife can't stand cats--is afraid of them, yet in a group of people, she's the one they're drawn to. When she was small she saw a dog grab a cat in its mouth and tear it apart.

Although I like cats, I have to ignore them at home because of my wife ever since I received a call from her while I was at an airport in another city. She complained that she couldn't water the plants on the patio because 2 cats whom I was in the habit of petting, were hanging out there.

My mother used to be afraid of cats. Now in assisted living she welcomes a house cat who comes up on her bed to visit. She refers to it as a dog, but once recently I heard her address the cat as "Putty Tat."

LMAO---- want two cats...I will trade for a beagle...

Miss my beagle. Luv my cats, but they do not give a *&%$ one way or another for sure. LOL...
